Waverton wins Charity Team of the Year Award for the Second Year Running
Winners: WealthBriefing European Awards 2019
Waverton is delighted to have been named Charity Team of the Year for the second year running at the WealthBriefing European Awards. The team won the award outright, without a shortlist, with judges recognising the strategy of our approach, growth and commitment to the sector.
Showcasing ‘best of breed’ providers in the global private banking, wealth management and trusted advisor communities, the awards are designed to recognise companies, teams and individuals which the prestigious panel of judges deem to have ‘demonstrated innovation and excellence during 2018’. Emma Crosby from SKY News presented the awards during a gala black-tie dinner, at the Guildhall in the City of London.
Commenting on the firm’s win, James Pike, Head of Charities at Waverton said: “To win this award outright and for the second year in a row is testament to the team’s continued hard work and dedication to the sector. The triumph is yet another milestone in the team’s drive to be recognised as one of the pre-eminent players in the highly competitive charity investment space.”
ClearView Financial Media’s CEO, and Publisher of WealthBriefing, Stephen Harris, was first to extend his congratulations to all the winners. He said: “These awards recognise the very best operators in the private client industry, with ‘independence’, ‘integrity’ and ‘genuine insight’ the watchwords of the judging process - such that the awards truly reflect excellence in wealth management.”
